What is the role?
As a sales manager you will be an integral part of the company’s growth and sharing our solutions with local governments in the US and in Israel. You will reach out over phone, email and in-person to dozens of senior executives (mayors, city managers etc.) in cities around the world and get them excited about data driven decision making and about listening to their citizens, and reach ambitious growth benchmarks. You will also work internally – cooperating closely with the product team to convey feedback and ideas from clients. As one of our first sales managers, you will have the chance to work with high-profile clients, participate in conferences, create methods and pipelines and be part of building our sales process from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a large volume of outbound calls and emails (100+ monthly) to customers and initiate the first business steps
  • Follow up promptly and diligently on leads and inquiries, delivering a positive prospect experience throughout the process
  • Walk clients through our solution on calls, meetings and conferences
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up with both senior executives (Mayors, city managers) and champions (IT directors, communications managers)
  • Manage a regional sales funnel using our CRM
  • Conduct online research to expand prospect list

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as an SDR or Inside Sales for B2G/B2B companies OR 4+ years of local government experience
  • Great verbal and written communication skills. Be great in writing, in person and over the phone
  • Dedication and ambition to conducting outbound calls daily
  • Tech Savvy, good with digital interfaces
  • Fluent in English. Hebrew or other languages – advantage
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant fields – advantage
  • Urban planning/local government background – advantage

What is the role?
As our US sales director you will be ZenCity’s first representative in the States, leading our company’s efforts in expanding to the American market. Working closely with our CEO, you will build and carry out a sales strategy, from identifying client segmentation to conducting meetings and calls. You will combine selling “off the shelf” products with cultivating RFPs with cities of all sizes. You will work with high-profile clients, participate in conferences, create sales methods and pipelines and play a significant role in building our sales process from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies of selling directly to local government customers within the US
  • Map out account plans to identify and close new opportunities for growth – including expansion, cross sells and professional service opportunities to current customers
  • Manage complex sales-cycles, which include our portfolio of SaaS offerings and present to C-level executives
  • Work with all levels of the organization – including program managers, contracting officers, developers and senior executives
  • Work with senior management and accounting to negotiate contracts in the procurement cycle
  • Employ strategic solution selling skills within complex customer environments
  • Provide regular account reviews (quarterly business reviews) to highlight key results, metric analysis, demonstrated value and emphasize the ROI, as well as recommend process/procedure changes
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on our sales methodology and metrics to include customer fit and success criteria
  • Demonstrate expansion of the ZenCity Platform beyond the functionality introduced during implementation process and consistently seek new business opportunities by presenting and recommending and upsell new products, services, and (future) partner solutions
  • Present our products in leading industry events and conferences

Requirements

  • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding individual targets and quotas
  • 5+ years of software solution sales and or account management in B2G/B2B companies OR 5+ years as a senior official in Local Government (city management, IT, budget, innovation or political leadership)
  • Natural closer. Reluctant striving to create and follow potential leads and to carry out deals.
  • 2+ years of experience in building or managing large scale sales funnels and/or working with enterprise clients
  • Proven success working with a SaaS company – as a salesperson or as a government client
  • Ability to identify, critique, suggest and implement intelligent changes to the customers’ eGov and Gov 2.0 initiatives
  • Independant – be able to work alone with a remote team
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-level
  • Great verbal and written communications skills. Be great in writing, in person and over the phone
  • Extraordinary communication and presentation skills
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time
  • Past experience providing solutions/sales/software into the public sector/government is highly desired

What is the role?
As data scientist you will be in charge of designing the algorithmic side of our engine – the core of our company’s technology. Our algorithm automatically analyzes data that helps city managers (Mayors, CEOs and other decision makers) understand their citizens better in real-time, and make knowledgeable decisions that affect the lives of millions of citizens around the world. The analysis includes topic modeling, clustering, NLP, predictive analytics and more.

 

You will:

  • Design and implement algorithms that support decision making and human understanding of data for city decision makers
  • Develop analytical and statistical models and methods (including, but not limited to, regression), that predict a variety of urban phenomena.
  • Implement NLP mechanisms in multiple (common) languages – including tokenization, categorization, feature extraction and sentiment analytics.
  • Integrate a wide variety of data real-world data – from sensor and infrastructure data, to human generated content, into insight driven outputs
  • Constantly work to research, learn and implement cutting edge, state of the art methods and technologies

 

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent
  • A Solid foundation and background in machine learning and prediction models, with a broad understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methods and algorithms
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven track record including publications, development and deployment experience
  • Experience in NLP, including implementation of NLP workflows/algorithms – a big advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in the application of data science / ML algorithms and workflows (experience with deep learning / RNNs – advantage)
  • Experience in working with one or more deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Theano, Torch, TensorFlow – advantage
  • Experience with urban issues\human data flows – advantage
  • Be passionate about cities and improving life in the urban environment.
