Zencity's Top Conferences of 2025
Discover the top local government conferences that we’re the most excited about in 2025.

As we kick off 2025, Zencity is gearing up for another year of engaging with local government and public safety leaders at some of the most impactful conferences around the world. Following our acquisition of CommonPlace, we’re excited to expand our presence in the UK and continue our strong engagement in the U.S. Here are the top five conferences where you can connect with us this year:
1. GSMCON 2025
GSMCON (Government Social Media Conference) is the premier event for local government social media managers and communication professionals. As digital engagement becomes increasingly vital for governments, GSMCON provides a space for sharing best practices, trends, and strategies to enhance communication with residents. This year, Zencity is thrilled to host a speaking session where we’ll discuss how data and real-time community insights can empower local governments to foster stronger, more effective digital engagement. We’re also excited to provide valuable content and insights throughout the event – stay tuned!
2. UKREiiF
For the first time, Zencity is joining UKREiiF (UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum), marking a significant step in our expanded UK presence. This event brings together public and private sector leaders to discuss the future of infrastructure and urban development in the UK. As cities navigate complex challenges in planning and investment, we’re eager to showcase how data-driven insights can support smarter decision-making for local authorities.
3. IACP Conference
A staple in our annual calendar, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference remains one of the most influential gatherings in law enforcement. With public safety at the heart of strong communities, this event is a critical space for innovation and collaboration. At IACP 2025, Zencity will highlight our latest advancements in data-driven public safety solutions, helping law enforcement agencies better understand and respond to community needs.
4. ICMA Conference
The International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Conference is a yearly must-attend for local government professionals. As a long-standing partner of ICMA, Zencity is excited to return and continue discussions on how local leaders can leverage technology to drive meaningful, data-backed decision-making. With city and county managers at the forefront of community leadership, ICMA remains a key event where we can share insights and learn from public sector innovators.
5. APCC/NPCC 2025
Zencity’s expanded presence in the UK also means a renewed focus on law enforcement and policing. That’s why the APCC/NPCC (Association of Police and Crime Commissioners & National Police Chiefs’ Council) Conference is a crucial part of our 2025 event lineup. Following the successful Symposium, we produced last month in partnership with the UK College of Policing and the Police Foundation, we’re more confident than ever in our expanded presence within UK law enforcement. The Symposium focused on trust and confidence in policing, reinforcing the critical role of data-driven insights in fostering stronger relationships between law enforcement and communities. This experience has strengthened our commitment to supporting UK law enforcement, and we’re excited to build on that momentum at APCC/NPCC 2025.
Looking Ahead: Zencity Impact
Beyond these major conferences, we’re also launching Zencity Impact, our own event series designed to foster deeper discussions around local government challenges and solutions. Through webinars, roundtables, and in-person meetups, we aim to build a community where professionals can engage year-round beyond the conference circuit.
We can’t wait to connect with city leaders, public safety officials, and local government innovators throughout the year. If you’re attending any of these conferences, let us know - we’d love to chat about how Zencity’s solutions can help your community thrive!
